My parsley has been invaded!!! After a bit of internet research, the kids and I have discovered that these amazing caterpillars are Black Swallowtail butterflies waiting to happen! We are so excited and hope to get to see our backyard full of the beautiful butterflies they are to become. At current can see count, we have 13 in my parsley. Well worth the loss of parsley, I do believe!

I have these catepillars every year about this time on my fennel. I've even given the branches with them attached to the science teachers at Lamar when they make their cocoons.
I'm so excited that you have herbs!!
